Thinking*Room Presents TRADEMARKS: Two Decades of Logos in a Single Archive
Marking its 20-year creative journey, design studio Thinking*Room has released a comprehensive new book titled TRADEMARKS: an extensive archive capturing the studio’s long-standing practice in crafting visual identities. Launched on November 19, 2025, the publication serves as a significant milestone for Thinking*Room, a studio that has consistently shaped the development of Indonesia’s graphic design landscape since its founding.
TRADEMARKS features more than 350 logos created by the studio over the past two decades, organised across 428 pages that showcase a wide range of logomarks, logotypes, and dynamic logos. The collection spans a variety of industries, from food and hospitality to arts, culture, and broader creative sectors–offering a clear view of how logo design informs the way brands build and communicate their identities to the public.
Beyond its visual compilation, the book offers deeper insight through a series of essays written by Thinking*Room’s leaders. Founder and Design Principal Eric Widjaja, together with Partners and Art Directors Ritter Willy Putra, Ira Carella, and Bram Patria Yoshugi, reflect on their logo design practice, professional journeys, and the ideas shaped through two decades of collaborative work. Their perspectives position TRADEMARKS not only as a record of the studio’s evolution, but also as a lens into the shifting currents of design trends over time.
Published with the support of Harapan Prima, Paperina, and Tokotype, the compact 10 × 10-centimetre volume was presented as one of the highlights at Grafis’25 during ADGI Design Week 2025. Through TRADEMARKS, Thinking*Room invites readers to explore how a design studio builds a lasting visual language–one that continues to resonate across generations.
